Change stalls at the last mile
Programmes are announced, content is published, completion is reported. It can still be difficult to know whether a regional sales team is ready for the new conversation with a customer.
For executive teams and boards
Every transformation, product launch and regulatory change depends on people doing something differently. Aixa turns your company knowledge into interactive learning and practice with Digital Human coaches, helping people build capability and giving you a clearer view of their progress.
The executive gap
The distance between a decision made at board level and a behaviour changed at the front line is where value quietly disappears. Three symptoms, all of them expensive.
Programmes are announced, content is published, completion is reported. It can still be difficult to know whether a regional sales team is ready for the new conversation with a customer.
Your best operators, underwriters and engineers carry judgement that documents rarely capture fully. Bringing their examples and methods into learning experiences helps more people benefit from that expertise before it leaves the business.
When a regulator, an auditor or your own risk committee asks whether people understood the policy, completion is only part of the answer. Assessment and practice can give you a more useful picture of understanding and where further support is needed.
What changes
A Digital Human explains, listens and guides practice, with personalised feedback and checks on understanding. People learn at their own pace; your team retains control of the experience.
Policies, playbooks, onboarding material and transformation messages become interactive experiences employees can question in their own words and supported languages. People can return when they need help and practise without waiting for the next training window.
Staff practise the difficult conversation, the escalation, the compliance judgement in a safe environment, through experiences grounded in the knowledge and scenarios you provide. Feedback and repeat practice help them prepare before the real situation arises.
Participation, completion and assessment results help you see progress and identify where further practice or support may help. Exportable reports can inform executive discussions alongside operational measures of change.
The view from the top
Illustrative learning data showing the questions an executive team can explore. This is a reporting concept, not a product screenshot or customer result. Measures depend on the learning experience and assessment criteria; they do not establish workplace performance on their own.
Which functions have completed the learning that supports adoption?
Illustrative completion rate: completed learners as a share of invited learners in each function. Lower participation helps focus follow-up; it is not a measure of operating-model adoption.
How are people performing against the scenario criteria?
Illustrative pass rate: assessed learners meeting the configured scenario criteria, using each learner’s latest completed assessment. Simulated performance guides further practice.
What can we evidence if we are asked tomorrow?
Illustrative completion rate by programme: completed learners divided by invited learners. Completion and assessment records support follow-up and can be shared through exportable reports.
The commercial case

Benefit 1
Help people understand, practise and adopt the new way of working. Estimate the average Aixa support each impacted person would need, then compare today’s likelihood of success with your expected likelihood after that support.
EY and Oxford research provides context on people-centred transformation. It does not establish the 45% Aixa scenario or isolate learning’s causal effect. The 180% ROI proxy concerns potential cloud-adoption benefits, not every transformation. Read the research context ↗
Benefit 2
The starting example is classroom learning with travel, with 100% of learning hours moved to Aixa. Compare delivery spending and employee time separately. This is a planning scenario, not an average corporate training budget.
A 2025 university study found stronger immediate learning gains and a median 49 minutes with a carefully designed AI tutor versus 60 minutes in an active classroom. It supports the potential of personalised, self-paced learning. It did not test Aixa, corporate training, long-term retention or personal-coach equivalence. The editable 18% classroom speed scenario uses that study as a reference — not an Aixa forecast. Read the study ↗
Benefit 3
The Aixa Creator Platform helps make ongoing learning production faster and more efficient. Explore how less production effort could release expert capacity for strategic work, while retaining human review and testing. This comparison includes the labour used to create learning.
Chapman Alliance’s historical survey of 249 organisations reports 43 team-hours per finished classroom hour, 79 for basic e-learning and 184 for interactive e-learning. These are effort benchmarks, not calendar durations. The role split, weekly availability and Aixa hours here are editable planning assumptions. Read the original 2010 report ↗

22.2 hours / year. Content created for: 1,000 people. Annual economic cost per person: $1,804.93.
Illustrative total includes content creation, delivery, travel and the employee’s own learning time, valued at $51.10/hour. It is an economic cost, not just the L&D budget. Admin is excluded from both approaches.
| Cost | Before | With Aixa |
|---|---|---|
| Content creation | $49.98 | $4.54 |
| Personal tutoring | $399.70 | $0 |
| E-learning delivery | $20 | $0 |
| Classroom delivery | $142.65 | $0 |
| Travel / logistics | $375 | $0 |
| Aixa learning | $0 | $665.99 |
| Employee learning time | $817.60 | $1,134.40 |
| Total excluding employee time | $987.33 | $670.53 |
| Total including employee time | $1,804.93 | $1,804.93 |
Creation per finished content hour: $2,855.90 classroom, $5,354.10 e-learning, $204.40 Aixa. Creation is spread across each course’s audience, not the 15-person class size. Coaching preparation is assumed included in the coach fee. These are modelled costs, not a supplier quote.
The example uses 1,000 employees and an annual mix of 2 tutoring, 4 e-learning and 10 classroom hours. Its 16-hour total is close to the 16.7 hours in ATD’s 2026 report covering 2025. The mix, course reuse and costs are a scenario, not a measured average corporate programme.
Current creation: classroom 8 expert + 25 HR/L&D + 10 external working hours per finished content hour; basic e-learning 16 + 43 + 20. Aixa: 2 expert + 2 HR/L&D + 0 external hours. Current 43/79-hour totals use historical Chapman Alliance benchmarks; role allocations and Aixa effort are assumptions. All 14 classroom/e-learning content hours are assumed created once for this year and reused by 1,000 people. Tutoring preparation is assumed included in the tutoring fee.
Expert, HR/L&D and employee time use $51.10/hour and $51.10/hour respectively, based on the converted Destatis employer-cost reference. External creation uses $116.96/hour based on Freelancer-Kompass. The page’s stated currency conversion applies.
Personal tutoring is modelled as remote one-to-one coaching at $199.85/hour, using the converted RAUEN 2024 business-coaching reference as a proxy. E-learning delivery is an assumed $5 per learner-hour for hosting/platform usage, excluding content creation already counted.
Classroom groups use 15 people, the most common response in ATD’s 2025 report. Trainer cost is $1,703.25 per 8-hour day using the converted BDVT reference. Travel/logistics are assumed at $300 per person per classroom day, with none for remote tutoring, e-learning or Aixa. Partial days are prorated. Employee travel time is not included.
Aixa uses the hourly rate above and includes 4 hours of creation labour per finished content hour. Additional authoring/setup/maintenance charges are assumed zero. Admin is excluded equally from both approaches. Employee learning time is included on both sides. This is a model of the listed costs, not a quote covering every possible charge.
Annual Aixa cost per person = learning hours × (Aixa usage rate + employee hourly cost + creation cost per content hour ÷ average course audience). Both sliders solve this equation against the current annual cost. Average course audience is continuous, allowing the sliders to keep cost fixed; displayed slider values are rounded. Classroom groups are still rounded up to whole sessions. More learning hours do not establish better outcomes. Content personalization is separate from one-to-one delivery. Do not add Benefits 2 or 3 again.
These calculators answer different questions. To build a total learning cost, align the audience and time period, allocate content creation across its total users, then add delivery and learner-time costs once. Check for overlap between trainer preparation and content creation. Keep expected transformation value separate. Estimates are scenarios, not promises of savings or success.

BCG research ↗KfW 2025 report, published 2026, using 2024 data. Average annual digitalisation expenditure of active German SMEs with 50+ employees. Historical EUR scale reference, not a complete transformation budget or the starting investment in the USD scenario.
KfW report · figure 18 ↗US$1 million, 1,000 supported people and 2 average hours are illustrative assumptions. The 45% success likelihood is not a measured Aixa result. Role allocations, Aixa effort and staffing are also assumptions. Hours determine cost, not an automatic success improvement.
